How the ECOC Process Works:
Test and Inspection. Takes ± 1 hour at R650.00 ex VAT which is invoiced after the inspection has taken place. This covers admin, travel, time and the cost of the certificate. If there is no work to be done, the certificate is issued on receipt of payment.
If There Is Work to Be Done:
A comprehensive quotation will be sent through upon receiving payment for the inspection. Should the quotation be accepted, an appointment is made and a 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. On completion of work, a final invoice will be sent with the outstanding amount. On receipt of payment, and a copy of the certificate will be issued. Should the original be required, it can be delivered or collected.
EFT (Electronic funds Transfer); Cash or on registration: An instruction to the conveyancing attorney to make full payment upon registration of the property and a letter of undertaking from attorney in agreement.
